Gary Zalkin began practicing psychotherapy in 1992. In order to continue his therapy practice he attended law school in the evening, graduting from Suffolk University Law School magna cum laude in 1999 as a member of the Suffolk Transnational Law Review.
Attorney Zalkin received his B.A. in psychology from Brandeis University in 1989 and his M.S.W. from Simmons College School of Social Work in 1992.
Attorney Zalkin currently serves as chair of the Riverside Community Care Human Rights Committee and as president of the board of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Massachusetts, Greater Framingham affiliate. He is certified by the Massachuestts Committee for Public Counsel Services to represent individuals in guardianship and commitment hearings. Attorney Zalkin is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association where he has served on the Mental Health Practice Group.
